Which make-up will bring out the blue in my eyes and make them look bigger ? x?

pale pinks, lavenders and natural tones would look great on you.

you could try matching your eye shadow to your clothes. the plus side of this method is that you can create a dramatic look with the combination of shadow and clothing. using this method can also help draw attention to your eyes if you're wearing bright or dark-colored clothes that might overpower more subtle eye make-up. the drawback to this approach is while your body may look good in a fuchsia shirt, that doesn't mean your eyes look good surrounded by fuchsia. furthermore, choosing an eye shadow that matches your clothes and looks good on your eyes can be challenging.

you could aso try matching your eye shadow to your own natural coloring. on the positive side, this method creates a natural look that can be elegant if done dramatically, or simple and clean when applied with a lighter hand. this technique works for all occasions and will match any style or color of clothing.

because, choosing eye shadow can be difficult no matter what colour your eyes are, here are some basic rules to help you pick your colours:

* the first rule is to experiment. you won't know what looks best on you until you try it. buy some inexpensive shadows in a wide range of colors and play around. when you've found a colour that seems to works with your skin, hair and personal taste, then you can search within that color to find the perfect tone, hue, texture, and quality that works for you.

* don't be afraid, mix colours together and see what you get. if you're unsure of a colour, test it on the inside center of your forearm. this will give you some idea how the colour will look on your skin before you put it on your eyes. don't test it on the back of your hand, as is usually recommended, since the skin of your hand is usually far darker than the skin of your eyelids. once you're ready to put on the colour, start with a light layer and build up in light layers until you have the darkness and colour you want.

* lavender, as well as most pale pinks and pale purples, work well for almost any eye colour. they work especially well with blue eyes since they bring out the lighter tones in the eyes and make them seem bluer.

* smoky eyes, if they are appropriate to the occasion, look good on anyone. for the simplest smoky eye: line the eyes as closely as possible to the lash line with dark gray or black shadow, or a black eyeliner pencil, or a kohl pencil. then smudge upward and outward toward the eyebrow and corner of the eye. smudge the bottom only slightly to soften the line, but don't drag downward because smearing the dark colour under your eye will make you look tired. powder over the pencil, if you use one, with dark gray or black powder to set it and soften it further. apply mascara and you're done.

* try some shimmer. if you're nervous about choosing the wrong colour, then don't pick a colour. try putting some body glitter, or even bronzer, above your eye for attention-getting sparkle. if you're adventurous, and want only a little colour, try silver. don't forget the mascara, though. nearly nude eyes will need the definition of a coat of mascara.

* go natural. often, the best make-up colours for our face are those we are born with. most people have a medium shade on their lids, a darker shade in the crease extending to the eyebrow, and a pale shade just below the eyebrow on the bone. look and see what your colours are and then play them up with colours that are slightly darker or slightly lighter. for hooded eyes apply a slightly lighter shade than your skin on the lid to make them stand out. for eyes that are very prominent, apply a darker shade than your skin on the lid. for the ultimate in natural looks, don't apply any eye shadow at all. instead, carefully apply mascara for definition, then apply cheek colour, and lip colour and let your eyes sparkle on their own!

colors to avoid:

there are several colours that seem like perfect matches for blue-eyed people, which in reality don't work best for blue eyes. but, don't count them out completely. if they work for you, i say go for it.

BLUE:

blue often competes for attention with the natural blue of the eye, and so distracts from the eyes, which should be the center of attention.

BROWN:

brown eye shadow, although it seems the natural opposite of blue eye shadow, tends to clash with blue eyes and make them appear duller. this may be because the warm brown tones are in opposition to the cool blue tones. instead of reinforcing the blue of the eye, the brown draws attention away from the eye.

GOLD:

gold clashes with blue as well, for the same reason brown does, though if you have tan skin you could possibly make it work. as an alternative, silver works well because it is a cool tone which draws out the blue, and it can add the same attention-grabbing shimmer as gold.

hope this helps

xWhich make-up will bring out the blue in my eyes and make them look bigger ? x?
To make any color eyes appear bigger, always line the inner bottom lid with white eyeliner. It will always make them to appear larger and more open.

For blue eyes specifically, red/orange shades make them pop more and bring out the blue color in your eyes. Since those are pretty harsh shades, try to tone it down and use golds, peaches, bronzes, etc and will still give it the same larger effect.

Also, be sure to use mascara to make your lashes appear longer and draw more attention to your eyes.

So use those shades of eyeliner/eyeshadow, line your inner bottom lid with white eyeliner, and use mascara. If you do all of those, you are garaunteed to have much larger looking eyes and the color will def stand out more.Which make-up will bring out the blue in my eyes and make them look bigger ? x?
Hello,,

Well if you have blue eyes, the best thing to do is buy a Gosh or Barry M eye shadow put (the dusty ones) in a blue shade similiar to your eye colour and also buy a very dark blue one or black and mix a small amount of the black with the blue.

Another option is to just use the blue on your eyes and also buy a white one, put a small amount of the white in the pots lid and mix with a TINY amount of water, but just enough to be a thick liquid. Just draw a line with the mixture across the bottom of the eye. This will bring out your eyes and make them look fantastic!

You can also mix the drak blue with the white and a little bit of water to make a lquid form and cover your eyelids with it. Then add 3 parts white shadow with 1 part blue and just dust upto the top of your eyebrow, getting lighter as you do - this is more of a night-time make-up but should look great if you lighten the shades for during the day.

Hope this helped
Here are some tips! :D

To enhance the blue: i have blue eyes and these are the colours I use to bring out the blue in my eyes:

warm colours contrast the coldness of the blue: brown, bronze, gold, warm pink. and peach.

Other colours i found look nice are: grey, silver and deep purple/mauve.

The only colours i don`t think look nice are bright blue- or anyother blue, eyes look dull in comparison it the fake blue!

Ways to make your eyes look bigger:

mascara: black or black/ brown mascara and Lots of it, long lashes make your eyes look bigger.

eyeliner: Use brown eyeliner, not black- black eyeliner makes your eyes look smaller. This is what i do to make my eyes bigger, and it really works: draw a thin line across the top of your lid- a little thicker on the outside edge, then draw a small, quite thick line on the on the outside edge on the bottom, then- smudge it over to about the middle. ( i really reccommend getting an eyeliner with a 'smudger' -little sponge on one side, i use benefits one in 'stable' - the perfect colour and with a smudger, but No.7 and loads of other makes also do them!) then just a tiny flick on the outside, where your eyelashes are. Also it makes your eyes look bigger if you line the bottom inside rim with white eyeliner!

eyeshadow: i like to do my shadow like this- first a shimmery peach all over my lid, and then use a brown shadow in the crease of your eyelid- this really makes your eyes look bigger!

eyebrows: if your eyebrows look nicer and neater your eyes will look bigger, put a tiny bit of vaseline on your eyebrows, and then brush it through with an eyebrow brush/old toothbrush. Or you can use a clear mascara and just brush it through your eyebrows.

Hope this helped! :D

brown has always been known to bring out the blue. blue make-up will NOT bring out the blue in your eyes, it will in fact do the opposite because your eyes wont be framed properly. use brown in the proper tint, tone, and shade that best suits your color or skin undertone. white eyeliner in the lower lid will also open your eyes, and a well curled set of lashes will definitely perk up your eyes(use shu uemura lash-curl). avoid black in the lash line as this will make your eyes look smaller. =)
to make them look bigger: put some light colored eye-shadow in the inner corners of your eye, darker in the outer ones, and some under you eyebrow for a natural lift.

stand out: use gel eyeliner or mascara and orange eyeshadow...the adventage of orange is that it is on the opposite of blue on the colour wheel, so it makes blue stand out AND it looks perfectly natural :)

here is a color wheel to help you : http://realcolorwheel.com/colorwheel.htg鈥?/a>
Blue eye-shadow.

Most people say browns or sumit by i have blue-green eyes and i dont suit that colour. I think it depends on your skin tone and hair colour too.

Personally i would experiment with loads of colours and have a friend over or ur mam and see what they think.

Use coatings of mascara and (if u want) use eyeliner AROUND the eye, not on the inside bit as this makes them look smaller.

hope this helpss

xx
No one else has said this but orange will bring out the blue in your eyes. Orange is the opposite to blue. What ever colour is opposite will make it stand out more. Search colour wheel on google images to see what a mean.
Almay ';Bring Out'; and ';Play UP'; collection.
