i think the dark coler ,make the green eyes more seeable.
purple is great!! Just experiment with light and dark shades to pick the best one for you. Medium purple shades work best for me but Im a blonde too so that has some influence. The best color combo Ive found is Almay ';Play up the green'; eyeshadow trio. It sells at Wal-Mart for like 6 bucks. Its pretty awesome. good luck

plums... MAC has a great eyeliner called prunella, and I forget their eyeshadow I use in the crease, but it's a dark purple (goes on light). Also, browns are great.

I have green eyes too, purple hues really make green eyes stand out because they're opposite of green on the color wheel. Use a lilac shade and your eyes will look great!
Purple all the way. Basically to make your eyes pop, you use opposite colours. And Green and Purple are colour opposites. Anything from plum like colours to deep purples will work well. MAC have an awesome range of colours, and you can get the makeup artists to apply it, so you can see what it looks like (and if you like it, you can buy it from MAC or find a cheaper alternative)
