What's the best make-up for concealing dark shadows under the eyes?

Can someone recommend a concealer or general make-up that really does hide/cover the dark, under-eye shadows? What's the best make-up for concealing dark shadows under the eyes?
mac concealer.........it's wonderful! What's the best make-up for concealing dark shadows under the eyes?
Use a yellow or apricot based concealer first under your eyes, and then apply your usual foundation over top. The concealer balances out the dark area before you apply the foundation. If you want you can then follow with a light powder to set. You may have to go to a higher end cosmetic shop to get a concealer in this shade since I've found most drug stores don't carry them. Try Clinique or Este Lauder. There are under eye concealers specifically for dark under eye circles.
Yellow conceler. You use a color wheel, and to cancel out a color, you use the color opposite on the color wheel.

St. Ives Vitamin K Dark Circle Diminisher.

Good Luck

=)
the best thing is an oil based concealer with a yellower tint. yellow covers up blue just like green covers up red spots on your face. don't worry about your face looking a little yellow, cover it up with normal foundation and some pressed powder and you'll be good to go. also, when you apply your concealer, dot it on with your ring finger.
Tippex.
Laura Mercier under eye concealer, but by one lighter than your skin colour as this gives the appearance of brightening the area. Use a brush to apply and then press in with your fingers.

You can find Laura Mercier make-up at all major department stores and all Space Nk's. Also Lot's of sleep ,water as dehydration can cause dark shadows and don't forget a good eye cream too!!
use a lighter shade of conceler the you do usely
mary kay
Physicians makes a yellow tinted concealer. Put that on first, then put your normal foundation on and blend. It does the best job I have seen so far.
Turn the lights out.
MAC makes a killer pressed powder called ';fix'; its so awesome it covers scars and reddness too.
wear lots of black eye make up, it will make the rest of your face pale!
Mac concealer is excellent for covering up dark shadows
MK Signature Concealer in Yellow
Hey honey. I use natural collection concealer in medium. Also putting foundation there helps.

If you use the concealer:

1) Apply concealer evenly or it will look streaky.

2) Remove any excess concealer with your finger.

3) Apply pressed powder as the finishing touch. (I use Rimmel Clear Complexion powder in transparent.)

I buy all these products from Boots Chemists. If you do not live in the UK and do not have a boots nearby, the website is www.boots.com

Good luck babe!
Try using loads of good quality concealer. thats what i do and it works for me.good luck!
I use Mary Kay and it works well.
i'v tryed a fare few, but to be honest i havn't found one yet. but i use a dark circle eye cream and it really has reduced the darkness round my eyes! its a nivia visage one.
I say get more sleep and regular make up should help if you know how to apply it.
do me a favour and don't listen to them? its true that putting a lighter eye concealer under the eye opens your eye, but not if there's still discoulouration, as a concealer can't hide that. putting light colour concealer on anything only highlights it.

what you need is CORRECTOR. you may have seen them in weird different colours, but what you'll need for under the eye is a yellowy orange one. this neutralizes the discolouration. but since neutralizing it won't match your skin tone, THEN you add the 1 shade lighter concealer over top of it.

for red blemishes or acne, use green corrector. again, red and green neutralize eachother. most corrector is 70-98% coverage, so you won't have to worry about dark circles anymore! just be sure to blend it up into your lashline so there's no dark line

(oh, then yes, cover any cream, be it foundation, concealer, even eyeliner, in a translucent powder to set so you don't sweat it off)
Gerda Spillman Swiss Skin Care is a cosmetic company. You can order a hilghter product from them that works really well. Also there base is a good product.
there is a product by YSL called touch elair or something like that. you will get it at the checmist. all the stars use it as do my mates and they swear by it. only dab a few dots of it under the eye and pat it to blend it in. its brilliant. i only wish i knew how to spell it. it looks like a a stck of mascara, its in a gold tube. hope this helps. Some of the people answering your question are totally out of order with what they are saying, ignore them, they are just plain ignorant.x
I like Benefit's concealer stick.
MAC Cosmetics makes a great concealer stick in a lot of skin tones. I wear it every day and it looks completely natural.
Revlon Skinlights concealer. It comes in three shades - Medium Touch, Light Touch and Luminous Touch, so you can hopefully find one to suit your skin tone.
touche eclat is good for drier skins as it has the liquid texture, but dermablend is the best. you can get it onthe net and it was originally developed for the red cross to help burn victims and people with port wine stains etc cover up. You can actually choose different shades and they also have the green / yellow / purple corrective makeup too. However, I use just the skintone one alone. You just need to be aware that it's very thick and so your cleansing routine needs to change
cure the problem:

Sleep more

soak your face with a hot towell flannel each morning

drink more WATER! (not alcohol)

drink fluids with vitamin C in them

it worked for my partner! and saved a fortune on clinique
